Three-dimensional Tone Factory
The Three-dimensional Tone Factory works to the specification:
where fref is the reference frequency, and a,b,c and d are positive or negative integers. A single fraction suffices to specify any point in the 3d lattice. We can map this space to three rather than four dimensions because the octave dimension has been disabled.
